"God Is Light" Wall art

"God Is Light" is my first piece created on canvas. I really was just practicing with acrylics and colors and wanted to create some sort of ribbon effect. The ribbon effect turned out to look like a DNA strand to me. During the painting I took the canvas outside to paint in open air and the tree branches played sweetly on the canvas. I liked it so much I painted the shadows of the branches on the canvas as well. The rainbows are me I trying to recreate the light refractions like light shining through a crystal. With a cross made of light behind the DNA strand. I painted this with God in mind but this was before my belief in Christ and before a became a christian, so this painting means a lot to me.
